Klaxon have been shortlisted as the final few in contention to be awarded the rising star 3.0 award from Tech Nation. They have beaten stiff competition to be recognised as a rapidly growing tech innovator.
The rising star finalist is a cloud-based major incident, mass notification, and planned maintenance communication solution. It helps organisations keep their staff safe and productive during an emergency or crisis. It’s primed to help every organisation that needs to send emergency communications, such as broadcasting information concerning pandemics, business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT downtime.
The idea was born when Co-Founder Dan Simms worked as interim CIO for various large organisations where IT communication to business users on incidents was almost non-existent. Due to the poor communications during emergencies organisations suffers from lost productivity and business opportunities leading to bad press and lack of confidence in the IT department.
