Insomnia is thought to affect around 35 of the adult population although some suggest this is as high as 60 . Internet searches for topics related to sleep or insomnia stand at around 86,390 times per month and research into sleep apnea has risen 38 in the last two years. According to one survey, around 8billion is spent every year on sleep tablets, sleep aids and supplements.
