DSG Quantity Surveyors has been recognised for its commitment to bringing women into the industry with two recent awards.

The company was recognised for its commitment at the recent Women in Construction Awards, winning the 'Training and Development' award and being highly commended in the 'Quantity Surveyor' of the year award.

The judges were particularly impressed that 60% of the surveyors at DSG are women, a huge difference to the national average of 14%.

Managing director Steven Gosling commented: "DSG is interested in employing people from all walks of life with an interest in construction, we provide a nurturing environment which has had a positive impact on attracting and developing women surveyors."

Steven established the business in 2008 from his kitchen table and over the past eight years has established a national business with offices in Newbury and Bolton.  

With three qualified RICS assessors within the business, DSG is committed to taking all professional staff through their RICS chartership, encouraging them to grow and develop a great career.
