Making You Content, a small copywriting agency based in Manchester, was named as one of Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday winners on Monday 24th August 2015.
Theo Paphitis, best known for his role in Dragons’ Den, began Small Business Sunday (#SBS) in 2010, in an effort to generate exposure for startups, small businesses and entrepreneurs. Every Sunday, thousands of businesses are encouraged to ‘pitch’ to Theo over Twitter; 6 winners are picked every Monday evening.
The recognition comes at an exciting time for Making You Content. In the past month alone, founder Kelly Gilmour-Grassam has featured on BBC Radio 4 Money Box, as well as being shortlisted for the Forward Ladies Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the North West. Over the space of just 18 months, the business has evolved from a one-woman band, to become an agency with a strong team of freelancers.
