Bounce Life Sells Insuretech Platform and Advisory Business

"Whats exciting is there is still so much to be achieved under the Bounce and Cream brands. "
Ashley Reading

“One of the nations most admired insurance brokers” Bounce has reached an agreement to sell their advisory business and innovative insurtech platform to Cream Financial Solutions for an undisclosed “very attractive” seven-figure sum. Cream, the UK’s fastest growing protection, mortgage and GI brokerage firm has acquired the Bounce branding, referral and sales process, algorithm codes, intellectual property assets, highly-sophisticated tech platform, and a 30,000+ strong client base.

Bounce, founded in Kent by Ashley Reading (51) is the UK’s fastest growing insurance referral network, winner of Best Life and Health Insurance Company, and has ranked in the top 100 best start up’s over the past 5 years. Ashley established Bounce in 2016 following his own ‘bounce back’ from gargantuan failures which took him from a 7-figure income with a business empire, to becoming homeless, jobless and in a deep depression. Of this journey Ashley says: “my life began when I lost everything – it taught me humility and changed me as a person - it’s made me the man I am today.”  Bounce was later developed to help people live longer, happier, healthier and better protected lives. That mission will continue under the new leadership of Simon Smith at Cream Financial Solutions.

The Bounce team, currently made up of over 5,000 mums – referred to as ‘Bouncers’ – will be retained by Cream along with the existing senior advisory and management team. Ash himself is staying on as a consultant to the Cream board, adding value and creative input wherever possible and driving the Bounce Network behind the scenes.

Ashley said of the company: “To come from nothing and transform into one of the nation’s most admired insurance brokers and referral marketing insurtech companies, helping tens of thousands of clients get better protected, is something I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve loved the journey of building the company from the ground up, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of the incredible team at our Bromley HQ, the sales team in Manchester, and the network of thousands of amazing Bouncers all around the UK.”

He continued with his comments on the sale: “What’s exciting is there is still so much to be achieved under the Bounce and Cream brands. The business will rise to even greater heights under the ownership of Simon Smith, and I know our clients are going to continue to be very well looked after for many years to come.”

Ashley has already begun work on his next ‘business-disruptor’ platform, concluding with; “Once again, it’s going to be centred around making a massive positive difference to people’s lives, and as always, having plenty of fun along the way”.
