Clarion Wealth Planning appoints new Chartered Financial Planner

"I chose Clarion because of its professionalism. It absolutely aligns with my approach to true financial planning and the high standards I like to adhere to for my clients"

Cheshire-based Clarion Wealth Planning has appointed a new Chartered Financial Planner.

Ella Davies has joined the team at Alderley Edge after 11 years at another North West firm.

She said: “I chose Clarion because of its professionalism. It absolutely aligns with my approach to true financial planning and the high standards I like to adhere to for my clients.”

Clarion Wealth Planning are Chartered Financial Planners, specialising in lifelong financial planning and investment management.

Ella has been involved in the finance sector since university. Alongside studying for a business degree at Liverpool, she worked as a cashier in building society before moving to the advice side after graduation.

Ella achieved Chartered status in June 2013 and became a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society the following month.

Ella said: “My primary focus is holistic financial planning and I specialise in unpicking complex retirement and estate planning cases. I work closely with family units helping them formulate their collective objectives for both existing and future generations, implementing an intergenerational plan which is reviewed regularly.”

“The most rewarding part of my role is advising my clients that they have now reached financial independence whereby they are working because they want to, not because they have to. I also love to encourage my clients to spend more money and enjoy their wealth.”

Ella has a special interest in promoting the interests of women, both as clients and within the profession.

“My personal objective is to help more female clients take control of their financial future,” she said. “Female advisers are few and far between and female Chartered Fellows even more so. I think this is part of the reason women are less likely to seek financial advice so hopefully, I'm contributing to change that.”

Ron Walker, the founder of Clarion Wealth Planning, said: “We are delighted someone of Ella’s calibre has become part of Clarion Wealth Planning. She will bring an additional dimension to our growing team and will be a great asset to our clients.”
