Hard Rock Cafe Manchester Launch Limited Edition Pins
Hard Rock Cafe Manchester has launched four limited edition pins to raise awareness of their ongoing commitment with The Printworks to both the environment and the local community.
Only 250 of each pin have been produced in the limited run, which are on sale in the restaurant for £8.95 each.
Designed by Nick Lewis, Hard Rock Cafe Manchester’s Operations Manager and pin enthusiast, the exclusive pins’ fun cartoon chicken theme is a nod to the hens on the roof of The Printworks, of which the Cafe sponsors as part of the entertainment venue’s philanthropic commitment.
Thanks to the support of its various tenants and Manchester Friends of the Earth – the garden boasts not only chickens, but also an allotment, wildflower meadow and four bee hives, of which the Hard Rock also owns and maintains two.
Twenty pence from the sale of each egg laid by the rooftop chickens go to homelessness charity, the Booth Centre, whilst the money from the sale of the honey is shared between the Booth Centre and Forever Manchester, the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester.
Operations Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Manchester and designer of the pins, Nick Lewis said: “We’re delighted to be releasing another set of exclusive pins which not only showcases the urban ecosystem on The Printworks’ roof but also highlights the work we do with local charities. We hope they will be a hit with our customers and we’re already looking forward to our next project.”
