The UK Chapter of PMI (Project Management Institute), has chosen to host one of its renowned Synergy events in Leeds, to mark the milestone 50th anniversary of the Global organisation.

Taking place at the The Tetley in Leeds on 12th November (5.30pm to 9pm), as part of PMI UK’s regional Synergy tour, the event will focus on "Project Delivery in the VUCA world" (VUCA: Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous).

Cameron Stewart, Managing Consultant for Enterprise Agility at Tata Consultancy Services and Paul Clavering, Owner & Change Leader at Just Enough Change, will take to the stage to offer their expertise on VUCA. In addition, the Sheffield Enactus, the University of Sheffield’s student society for social enterprise, will be showcasing some of their key projects.

Attendees will also be given the opportunity to meet with event sponsor Inter-vention, the Harrogate based IT Project Management recruitment agency, network with local and regional businesses and attend an after party in the iconic Tetley Bar.

Dan Auld, Branch Chair at PMI Yorkshire & Humber, comments: “We are very excited to be bringing the iconic Synergy conference to Yorkshire. The event will provide a great opportunity for both members and non-members across the region to share their expertise in project management and take part in PMI’s 50th anniversary celebrations.”

The Yorkshire & Humber Synergy event will also see one local project management professional receive a special Project Personality of the Year award. Nominations are welcome and can be made by e-mailing hello@inter-vention.co.uk, explaining why the candidate should win.

Founded in 1969, PMI (Project Management Institute) is the world’s leading project management organisation delivering value for more than 2.9 million professionals worldwide through global advocacy, collaboration, education and research.
