Uplift in secure print and mailroom services

"We have seen a marked increase in confidence in using technology to support hybrid working environments in law firms and other companies handling sensitive documentation."

It is now providing in-bound and outbound print, bulk scanning of analogue documents and mailroom services for a range of law companies embracing the latest digitisation technology to stay compliant around key operational processes.

The company looks after traditional document process as well as moving companies forward into full digitised, Paperlite solutions.

The uplift comes  as firms start to adopt a hybrid working model post-pandemic and explore what latest technology can do to manage secure document flow on and off site.

With limited space in a  home working environment and issues around compliance - printing from a home printer does not meet stringent GDPR rules - from printing at home Docutech helps by offering the ability to send documents via a secure encrypted file transfer where they can be printed via one of its in-house printing bureaus.

Dependent on the nature of the document and the specific time and security requirements, the documents can then be franked and posted, or hand delivered.

Its secure mailroom services use specialist document scanning and document capture technologies to digitise incoming mail and automate the classification and distribution of mail for its customers.

The service is helping law firms meet challenges associated with security and compliance around urgent, time-sensitive print and mail requirements.

Both paper and email can be managed through the same process allowing law firms to standardise their internal mail distribution procedures and adhere to company compliance policies.

Data can be automatically extracted from documents using intelligent data capture software, the digital documents are indexed in line with customer requirements. A robust QA process inspects the quality of the digital images and the information captured and digital documents are uploaded to a firm’s document management system.

Jason Dixon from Docutech's MPS Legal Services arm said: “We have seen a marked increase in confidence in using technology to support hybrid working environments in law firms and other companies handling sensitive documentation. It ensures a consistent, compliant cost-effective approach to document management wherever your workforce sits."
