Manchester-based technical production supplier business, Sterling Event Group, has signed a six-figure deal with Panasonic, enabling it to be the first in the North West to offer the latest projector technology.

Sterling is one of the first companies in the country, and the first in the North West, to commit to Panasonic’s PT-RZ21K model, which will become the business’ flagship projector replacing older and lamp-based products.

“We are very passionate about making sure our clients receive the most up-to-date equipment to ensure their events are a real success. We will be the first in the North West to offer the RZ21K laser-based projector for hire, something I’m really proud of,” said Richard Bowden, Founder and MD.

“I am delighted to be extending our working relationship with Panasonic. Their products have always been extremely reliable and given us and our clients, the results we strive for.

“This investment is a sizeable one for us but will enable Sterling to open the door to projects where bigger, brighter projection is required. It will also make sure as a company we remain as environmentally friendly as we possibly can, with us moving from lamp-based projectors to laser.”

Sterling Event Group is one of the UK's leading providers for technical event production. Its work is split across the whole spectrum of live event sectors including corporate, private, public and sporting. Its dedication to investing in equipment has already seen the business invest £500,000 in lighting equipment earlier in the year.

Tony Molloy, project sales manager at Panasonic said: “We are delighted that Sterling has recognised the benefit that Panasonic’s laser projectors can bring to its customer base, giving them more freedom to concentrate on creating great events and less time worrying about the technology that is unpinning them”

The RZ21K arrival at Sterling is imminent, with it being available to hire as soon as it is in stock.
