Steamhaus ends the year with new cloud client duo

"Its great to welcome our new clients on board. Evermix and Outcider are both fantastic businesses that need an infrastructure they can rely on as they grow."
Daniel Keighron-Foster

Manchester-based cloud and network consultancy Steamhaus will sail into 2016 celebrating two North West client wins. DJ streaming platform Evermix and media intelligence firm Outcider have both turned to the firm for a managed cloud solution.

The brainchild of former Melbourne Hosting founder Daniel Keighron-Foster, Steamhaus, located in the city’s Northern Quarter, launched in October 2015.

Evermix, a new streaming solution bringing together DJs and their fans through an intuitive hardware and software platform, has chosen Steamhaus as its operations partner as it experiences a period of rapid growth.

Evermix has selected the Steamhaus Managed DevOps+ package which provides 24x7 monitoring, with 15 minute emergency response times, auto-scaling in line with demand, application level monitoring and continuous testing and delivery.

Outcider, an online media intelligence firm providing alerts and reports based on news, social and political data, has selected Steamhaus to manage its expanding infrastructure, including 24/7 monitoring and rapid emergency response.

Taking over as Outcider’s operational team, Steamhaus will build a scalable architecture for the company that not only copes when demand is high, but also saves it money during quieter periods.

Filling the technical and customer service void that has prevented the companies from taking full advantage of the cloud’s potential, Steamhaus will take a bespoke approach for Evermix and Outcider, sourcing, designing, building, maintaining and managing the cloud set-up for each client.

Daniel Keighron-Foster, director of Steamhaus, said: “It’s great to welcome our new clients on board. Evermix and Outcider are both fantastic businesses that need an infrastructure they can rely on as they grow. I’m really pleased they’ve chosen our team to help them achieve this.”

James Ellis, product manager at Evermix, said: “It was clear from the start that Steamhaus knew exactly what they were talking about. They understood our product, our challenges and knew how to fix them. We felt they were the best provider to supply us with a powerful, resilient solution.”

David Mapple, co-founder of Outcider, said: “We’ve always struggled to find anyone to look after this side of our business, so it’s great to have such a trustworthy, competent and professional team on the case – and right on our doorstep!”
