Graham & Brown nearshores software development and chooses Godel as its partner.

"Finding the right software development skills in this location is challenging when we need to rapidly scale with the right abilities Godel can help us to do that and achieve our business goals."

The company will work on projects to integrate a courier system to enable the manufacturer to have multiple delivery options for it’s direct business, and streamline orders and inventory with business customers.

“We previously used just one supplier to deliver our business applications and had .net expertise in-house, but going forward we’re moving from one supplier to an in-house supplemented approach working with an experienced team from Godel,” explains Paul Martin, head of IT, Graham & Brown.

“We’re based in Blackburn, Lancashire and finding the right software development skills in this location is challenging when we need to rapidly scale with the right abilities – Godel can help us to do that and achieve our business goals.

“The selection phase began in March and the team at Godel took the time to really understand our business. Having visited the proposed development team in Minsk, we were sure that we’d made the right choice of partner.”

For business customers, working with Godel will bring about the changes necessary to deliver software integration with customers like The Range, streamlining order processes, inventory and driving efficiency savings by making the process faster and more efficient through electronic data interchange (EDI).

For the direct business, Godel will help deliver an integrated courier system so that Graham & Brown will have more delivery options for customers and will be able to provide next day and timed-delivery slots, whilst also improving options across Europe.

“We beat off some stiff competition to work with Graham & Brown as Paul had previously worked with a nearshore competitor – we were the underdog going into this,” explains Neil Turvin, CEO, Godel.

“Our customer references speak for themselves and were key to winning him over – I very much look forward to growing the team with Graham & Brown.”
