Macclesfield based cloud computing company Axon is supporting recent growth with the appointments of Codie Gill as Business Account Manager, Geane Pinto as Service Desk Engineer, and Ashley Burton as Junior Support Engineer.
Codie Gill holds four years’ experience in IT distribution and joins Axon from Tech Data where she worked as a Microsoft Office 365 Specialist and Business Development Executive. Here she was responsible for growing Tech Data’s Microsoft cloud business by training and supporting resellers in the channel.
Geane Pinto joins Axon following seven years in the industry including roles as an IT engineer and computing teacher. He will now work on Axon’s service desk to provide technical support to the company’s expanding customer base.
Ashley Burton holds a Business Administration NVQ and joins Axon from an IT helpdesk position at Macclesfield College where he worked to resolve technical issues for staff and students. Ashley will now build upon this experience, working with Axon’s service desk engineers to help support customers across the North West.
An internal recruitment drive has also seen existing employees Peter Griffiths and Rob Hill promoted to Technical Specialists roles where they will specialise in the design and development of Microsoft CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, in particular Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online – a Customer Relationship Management solution hosted in the cloud.
Axon celebrated a record year in 2014 with a 40% increase on the previous year’s trading taking revenues from £1,136,000 to £1,585,000. In 2012 the firm invested some £100,000 renovating new office space at Lyme Green Business Park in Macclesfield, and in March 2015 took out further office space at Silkpoint in Macclesfield to support business growth.
