Digicomm 360 take a leap of faith for Lagans Foundation

"It was teamwork in the truest sense and it was fantastic for us all to come together and we all agree, one of the most exhilarating things weve ever done."
Mark Pollitt, MD Digicomm

A local business has demonstrated that the sky’s the limit when it comes to supporting its company charity – quite literally. IT and Telecoms provider Digicomm 360, based on Halliwell Road, recently ticked one off the bucket list and took a huge leap of faith, after joining the Lagan’s Foundation charity skydive team and carrying out the challenge of a lifetime

Managing Director Mark Pollitt was joined by senior engineers Warren Hardman and Tom Hyde and the trio of “Jumping Geronimo’s” made their way to the Black Knights jump centre at Cockerham in Lancashire to complete their mission.

Mark Pollitt explains more:

“We’re extremely proud of the town where we all live and work. We’ve always been committed to giving back to the local community through charity fundraising and the support of local good causes, raising thousands of pounds over the years.

“As a Bolton-based company, we’ve been raising money for Lagan’s Foundation since it’s launch. In these most challenging of times, charities need more support than ever and so we were delighted to raise £2305 for this amazing cause.”

Like many charities, Lagan’s Foundation has taken a huge hit to it’s revenue since the Covid -19 pandemic. Digicomm were delighted to be able to be able to do their bit to boost the much-needed funds to help this amazing organisation help other families in need.

Mark Pollitt concluded:

“I am hugely proud of what our staff have achieved. For all of us, it was our first skydive and it’s fair to say there was a real mixture of nervous anticipation and excitement.  It was teamwork in the truest sense and it was fantastic for us all to come together and we all agree, one of the most exhilarating things we’ve ever done.

“We’d like to extend our thanks to the team at Lagan’s Foundation for inviting us to join their team and were very supportive both in the run up to the event and on the big day itself”.
