Skate Jam Success For Jerry J Clothing Team

"We saw some awesome skating throughout the day and we were so glad to see so many people having a good time."
Lamin Gibba

The Jerry J Clothing Skate Jam at the Five Bridges Skateboard in Gateshead was a huge success. The free event attracted more than 60 competitors from all over the North of England and already organiser Lamin Gibba is looking for a venue and sponsorship for next years’ competition.

Lamin started Jerry J Clothing in 2016 after attending college in Newcastle. He has created a highly visible brand with the slogan “For Elevated People.”

Lamin said: “We set out to help bring the community together and bring new faces into Skateboarding. We saw some awesome skating throughout the day and we were so glad to see so many people having a good time.”

The winners of each category were Ripsxxm (Instagram Name) in the Under 14’s and Under 18’s and Jack Winn took the prize for the 18’s and over.
