Global personal care ingredients manufacturer Stephenson is continuing to expand its distribution network after partnering with a leading natural oils and ingredients supplier.

From its manufacturing base in Horsforth, Stephenson will provide Ripon-based O&3 with products from across both its liquid and ‘melt and pour’ soap base range.

Stephenson manufactures a comprehensive range of liquid bases, ranging from surfactant concentrates to certified natural and organic liquid soap bases. The melt and pour process is used to produce some of the most innovative and aesthetically pleasing soap bars on the market. A wide variety of melt and pour soap bases are available, each specially formulated to meet specific market demands.

With the ever-growing demand for natural oil based ingredients, O&3 harness 40 years of British family heritage and knowledge in the wholesale natural oils sector. O&3’s core focus is to service its clients by producing, packing and adding value to a wide range of natural oil ingredients.

Thomas Kerfoot at O&3 said: “We want to offer our customers the right balance of product and expertise. Stephenson’s range and commitment to innovation aligns to those needs.”

Richard Musgrave, marketing manager for Stephenson, said “We are delighted to work with Thomas and the team at O&3 and are looking forward to combining our skills and expertise.”

O&3 customers will be able to order from a variety of Stephenson products including the Crystal melt and pour range: Crystal ST – clear melt and pour base, Crystal WST – white base, Crystal Goat’s Milk and Crystal OMP – certified organic base.

Established in 1856, Stephenson is fifth-generation a world leader in speciality ingredients. Twice winner of the Queens Award for Export, it now distributes to customers worldwide with over 80 per cent of Stephenson business done overseas.
