JCT600 adds MG Motor UK to its stable of car marques

"Were always on the look-out for new opportunities and MG will complement our existing brands in our home city of Bradford."
John Tordoff

JCT600 is now representing iconic British motoring brand MG Motor UK on Sticker Lane, Bradford.

Whilst current lockdown restrictions are in place, the full range of vehicles are still available to view, reserve and buy online on their website with customers able to benefit from JCT600’s ‘click and collect’ or trusted home delivery service. For owners, JCT600’s MG service, maintenance, repair and MOT testing services are all fully open by appointment only, supported by contactless drop off and collection as well as rigorous sanitation processes.

Initially, MG will be sharing JCT600’s Mitsubishi Motors dealership at 99 Sticker Lane to display their range of practical and affordable hatchbacks, sports wagons and SUVs as well as providing servicing and parts. The dealership has capacity to display almost 30 new and used cars and is ideally placed to serve the Bradford area with its close links to the M62 and M606 motorways.

John Tordoff, chief executive for JCT600, said: “With a history dating back to 1924, MG is famous for building sporty, exciting and value-for-money cars and it’s is now one of the fastest growing car brands in the UK, thanks to its superb range of affordable electric vehicles. We’re always on the look-out for new opportunities and MG will complement our existing brands in our home city of Bradford.”

Guy Pigounakis, commercial director for MG, said: "We are delighted to welcome JCT600 to the MG family and are extremely excited about the potential the new partnership gives to both MG and to JCT600 as we expand our network. Bradford and the surrounding area is a key strategic growth opportunity for us and with JCT600's impressive reputation, excellent customer service and established motor trade experience, it makes the group a perfect partner for us in the region."

British automotive brand MG is the latest to join JCT600’s portfolio of 25 world leading marques. One of the UK’s largest privately owned motor retailers, the Bradford-based motor retailer’s existing portfolio includes other volume brands including Volkswagen, Vauxhall, Mazda, Peugeot, Citroen, Cupra, Kia, Mitsubishi and SEAT.

Founded in 1946 as Brooklands Garage on Sticker Lane, Bradford, JCT600 remains a family owned and run business and is now in its 75th year of successful trading, operating 54 dealerships in Yorkshire, the North East, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.
