Local Retailer Hosting Charity Concert featuring Lyneham Military Wives Choir

"As it is 100 years since the end of the First World War, veterans will be in all our minds, and homeless veterans even more so."
Catherine Fallon of Chippenham Motor Company

Team members at Chippenham Motor Company would like to invite the local community to join them on 1 December and enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie at their first ever Lyneham Military Wives carol concert.

The choir will be performing a selection of Christmas carols in the MRG Volvo showroom at Methuen Park, Bath Road, Chippenham.

The concert will raise much-needed funds for the charity Wiltshire Home for Veterans, a vital local service that provides housing and support to ex-Service personnel who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.

Catherine Fallon of Chippenham Motor Company said, “This is an absolute first for us and we’re so excited, the concert is going to be a great start to the festive period. We’ll have the Christmas tree, and the choir will be there singing carols.

“As it is 100 years since the end of the First World War, veterans will be in all our minds, and homeless veterans even more so.”

The Lyneham Military Wives Choir formed in January last year, and is comprised of serving military veterans and military wives.

Only 100 tickets are available for the event - so book soon. The concert starts at 6.30pm and tickets are £6, under-12s free. Book at http://www.mrgcars.co.uk/christmas-carols/.
