First look at new multi-million pound showroom taking shape in Southampton

After a particularly difficult year for local businesses, a Southampton Volvo retailer has invested in a brand new multi-million pound showroom, due to open later this year.

First look at new multi-million pound showroom taking shape in Southampton

"We are delighted to unveil the first images of our new multi-million pound showroom, which has been months in the making."
Alex Domone, Chief Operating Officer at Snows Moto

Snows Volvo Southampton, in Millbrook, is currently in the middle of a new build which will improve facilities. The new space will feature a signature lounge area complete with Scandinavian-designed furniture, which will allow future visitors to relax in the lounge with Swedish cakes and coffee, or carry on working with free Wi-Fi.

Large exterior and interior glazing will allow customers to see all activity in the new workshops from – what feels like – the comfort of their living room. The retailer has also pledged that no refreshments will be served using single-use plastics – in fact, these have been removed from the showroom completely.

As well as the new look, the Southampton-based retailer has also expanded, with a larger showroom and a greater display of petrol, fully electric and hybrid cars, as well as Volvo Selekt Approved Used models on the forecourt. Over 100 different checks ensure these models are not just safe, but performing to the highest standard with the latest Volvo parts and software.

Snows Southampton is also offering a new, streamlined service to car owners which is set to halve waiting times. The new Volvo Personal Service sees the same technician liaising with the customer from the point of booking, right through to explaining the services – which they themselves have carried out. Two technicians work together on each car, reducing the time it takes for the service to be carried out.

Alex Domone, Chief Operating Officer at Snows Motor Group, said: “We are delighted to unveil the first images of our new multi-million pound showroom, which has been months in the making.

“This has been a significant investment for us, but our new site is about more than a change of furniture – it’s designed to create a space where our customers can feel relaxed and at ease in an environment that provides flexible waiting, working and assessment areas.

“The launch of our new Volvo Personal Service will help to better connect our MoT and service customers with their technicians for a smooth and efficient experience. Our focus is always on putting the customer first and giving them a high-quality service, which they know and trust.

“We’re looking forward to cutting the ribbon on our brand new showroom in the coming months and can’t wait to welcome customers new and old to check out the space, and enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat with the team.”
