Clothes2order launches radio ads campaign

Uniforms supplier Clothes2order is launching a radio advertising campaign for the first time as it seeks to continue its rapid growth.

The e-commerce company, based at Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, will mount a 13-week campaign on Real Radio North West from this Saturday.
The 30-second ads feature an offer of a free t-shirt for business customers and will be aired across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cheshire.
They will reach more than 500,000 listeners across the region during the period of the campaign.

Michael Conway, managing director of Clothes2order, said the company had chosen Real Radio North West because of its relevant audience profile.

“The station has wide appeal in the region, with particular strengths among people aged 25-44. Many of them tune in while they are at work, which makes them a great target audience for Clothes2order,” he said. “Although we are an online business which supplies customers worldwide, we are keen to build relationships with companies in our north west heartland, which is why we’ve chosen our local area for our first-ever radio campaign.

“The ads will include an offer of a free t-shirt to business customers and we’re confident that people will love our service and, after giving it a go, will come back for more.”

He added: “The radio campaign is a further element to our ambitious expansion plans. We’ve had a strong start to 2014, with year-to-date sales up by 90 per cent on the same period of 2013, and we aim to continue this growth throughout the rest of this year.”

Clothes2order, which employs 44 staff, prints and embroiders logos and slogans on to uniforms, promotional and event clothing.
Its customers range from start-ups to multi-national companies, clubs and societies.

The business is the fastest-growing part of Quayside Group, which also runs a wholesale division.
