"The gifting industry is increasingly competitive, and theres a strong surge in demand for more personalised packaging and those special touches."
Kate Hulley, Director at Boxed-Up
Cardboard box manufacturers, Boxed-Up, have unveiled their latest gift box design ahead of Mother’s Day following the popularity of last year’s seasonal box design.
Their latest design features a shabby-chic style scribbled hearts pattern on exposed plain cardboard with a sturdy, robust design that allows the box to be kept and reused.
Boxed-Up Director, Kate Hulley, explains: “We work very closely with small businesses such as eBay and Amazon sellers, so it’s important that we keep up-to-date and on trend with our seasonal box designs, to help our customers offer better experiences for their customers.”
According to Brand Packaging, the average consumer ranks the product’s packaging almost as important as the brand itself. Following the popularity of last year’s designs, Kate explains how this resonates with the Boxed-Up team:
“We trialled seasonal boxes last year which proved to be hugely favourable, hence why we have expanded our collection even further this year. The gifting industry is increasingly competitive, and there’s a strong surge in demand for more personalised packaging and those special touches.”
Having turned over a record of £500k last year alone, the Wigan-based cardboard packaging manufacturers have extensive plans to continue investment in machinery, products and people throughout 2018.
