Mercedes-Benz of Macclesfield ramps up support for van operators

LSH Auto is ready to 'keep business moving' for van customers in Macclesfield.

Mercedes-Benz of Macclesfield ramps up support for van operators

"The launch of our enhanced van maintenance and repair service at Macclesfield will make life more convenient for locally-based operators, particularly by helping them to avoid costly downtime."
Martyn Webb, Managing Director of LSH Auto

The team at Mercedes-Benz of Macclesfield, based at Lyme Green Business Park, now includes three dedicated Mercedes-Benz van technicians. The Dealer has also invested in three new ramps for van maintenance and repairs, one of which is being used to undertake MOT tests on vehicles in the Class 4, 5 and 7 categories.

Meanwhile, LSH Auto has established a new, six-strong Mercedes-Benz Service24h team, whose role is to provide round-the-clock MobiloVan emergency support to customers for Sprinter, Vito and Citan vans, and X-Class pickups, across the North-West and Midlands.

Kelly Mitchell, Service 24h Controller, said: “Working from comprehensively equipped and stocked Sprinter vans based at our dealerships in Macclesfield, Stockport and Erdington, our highly-trained, rapid-response technicians are on standby 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to support operators requiring roadside assistance.”

Mercedes-Benz Vans’ industry-leading MobiloVan service is free of charge to those whose vehicles are still covered by their three-year, unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty, and thereafter, provided the last service was by an official Dealer. Expert technicians who fit only genuine parts fix 80% of breakdowns at the roadside before sending drivers on their way.

Martyn Webb, Managing Director of LSH Auto, said: “Many of our van customers have been very busy as a result of the pandemic, so need to keep their vehicles running reliably and efficiently.

“The launch of our enhanced van maintenance and repair service at Macclesfield will make life more convenient for locally-based operators, particularly by helping them to avoid costly downtime.”

Martyn added: “LSH Auto is a business that constantly looks to the future and we never stop exploring ways to improve our customer service.”
