Lucy back in Liverpool for this weekend's show

"I can't wait to be face-to-face with new customers helping and advising them with size, colour and shape! "
Lucy Jones

Liverpool is where it all began for Lucy Jones Lingerie. Soon after graduating from the City’s University, Lucy launched her fledgling business from a studio in Victoria Street in 1980. Very soon her lingerie was being stocked by all the best department stores in London and boutiques across the UK. It was captured constantly by the media, which heralded Lucy Jones as being the ‘best and brightest’ lingerie design label around. A busy decade followed selling to Harrods and Harvey Nichols, Fenwick’s of Bond Street, Rigby and Peller, and specialist boutiques internationally.

After nearly three decades building a successful career in fashion education, Lucy relaunched the lingerie brand, using the rich archive of timeless designs, updating where necessary, and adding a little 21st century newness.

Lucy Jones loves to talk about her brand story and all things lingerie, fashion and education! This autumn she launches her new bridal lingerie range called Trousseau, together with new additions to her signature range, the Timeless and Forever collection of high-end design-led lingerie, featuring ‘Illusion’, a new print by collaborator Peter Pilgrim.

This means there will be lots to see, and plenty to talk about when, after an absence of more than 30 years, Lucy returns to Liverpool as an exhibitor at The North West Wedding Show, Liverpool Exhibition Centre this weekend, 25/26 September 2021.

This will be a physical show (adhering to the Government’s guidelines on social distancing) and will be an exciting opportunity for Lucy to introduce the two ranges and meet new bridal customers. Lucy will be there to discuss sizes and to offer one-to-one advice on planning a trousseau and ordering bespoke silk lingerie. Orders can be placed during the exhibition for delivery at a future date (pre-order), and she will also have a selection of ready-made pieces available for purchase at the show. These will include her iconic Wonderfully Big French Sleep Shorts in Black and Ecru (print designed by Furphy Simpson), Bralette and French Thong sets, Camisole and French Knicker sets and – just so the ‘groom-to-be’ doesn’t feel left out – some Men’s Boxer Shorts in silk twill and beautiful cotton.

Lucy said: “All the lingerie is made by hand from exquisite silk satin. It’s the first physical show for over 18 months, I can’t wait to be face-to-face with new and existing customers helping and advising them with size, colour and shape!"
