Liverpool Commercial District BID looks after the city’s business vicinity and has just appointed highly respected optician Mark Blankstone to join its operating board.
Mark joins current board members including chair, Julie Johnson, partner at Morecrofts Solicitors plus the newly-appointed deputy chair, Sean Keyes, from Sutcliffe, alongside the BID team led by chief executive, Bill Addy. A number of other significant appointments have been added recently.
Commercial District BID incorporates the Castle Street area, Old Hall Street and St Paul’s Square of Liverpool City Centrre.
Mr Addy said: “Our new board members share in our vision and ambition to improve the city centre for all – making it a cleaner, safer and thriving environment which is attractive to investors, developers, established commercial businesses and which encourages the creation and growth of new businesses.
