A new ‘digital assistant’ is now on hand to improve the customer experience at Liverpool’s St Johns Shopping Centre.
From Tuesday 12th November, Able Liverpool will be working closely with the centre to help and support people with disabilities, or people who just need some extra help. The system offers easy access to information about accessibility and the facilities at the centre – such as car parking, lifts and toilets.
Customers or visitors with a disability wanting to find out about accessibility information at the centre can use the Able Liverpool chat assistant to ask questions and receive answers on demand.
Shoppers can use Able Liverpool through the St Johns website and on social networks - Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Skype and through Google Assistant voice services - helpful for the visually impaired - to easily locate accessible information.
Neil Ashcroft, St Johns Centre Manager said “This is a free service which we think will be a huge benefit to shoppers. We’re one of the first in the UK to use this technology, and we think it will really enhance the shopping experience at St Johns for a lot of people.”
