Business Forum and Cobalt Link Up for Christmas

Business park encourages workers to shop local

Business Forum and Cobalt Link Up for Christmas

"Weve worked closely with the Forum over the years and as 2020 has been so tough on everybody we thought we should encourage more local spending."
Lynn Cramman

North Tyneside Business Forum has teamed up with the Cobalt Business Park to encourage sales to local traders rather than online or big chains this Christmas.

Forum members have taken advantage of an offer from Cobalt Business Park to feature their business free on the new MORE Cobalt Christmas website.

MORE Cobalt is the staff benefits package for Cobalt Business Park, with currently 10,000 MORE Card holders, close to 4000 on their mailing list and more than 5000 followers on their social media platforms.

Lynn Cramman, manager of Cobalt Business Park explained that the spending power of people working on the business park was phenomenal and that local businesses should benefit.

“We’ve worked closely with the Forum over the years and as 2020 has been so tough on everybody we thought we should encourage more local spending. Our website www.morecobalt.co.uk has everything from gifts and food to health and fitness. There is something for everyone.”

Chair of the North Tyneside Business Forum, Karen Goldfinch agreed: “The reach of the people on the park is enormous and it is a two-way thing. Many people on the park aren’t aware of the diverse goods and services available on their doorstep and now is a great time to support local businesses by shopping and spending in North Tyneside.”

The North Tyneside Business Forum is run by a management group made up of members from various industry sectors in the Borough and gives support in the form of networking, events and signposting for growth and development. Membership is free and open to any business of any size trading within North Tyneside. The Business Forum is supported by North Tyneside Council.

The Forum is FREE to join and is for any business with a trading address in North Tyneside.
