A growing bathroom retailer will be opening its doors at the former Bathstore unit at The Oaks Retail Park – close to B&Q - in Harlow next weekend (25th July), creating four jobs.

Easy Bathrooms, which is headquartered in Yorkshire, has renovated the 3,600 sq. ft. property over a four-week period, investing £100,000, to transform the empty Bathstore unit – which went into administration last year – into a 100-display, inspirational showroom. It is the firm’s 55th store nationally.

The store displays Easy Bathrooms’ own-brand ‘affordable luxury’ products, such as bathroom furniture, designer radiators, walk-in showers, freestanding baths and mirrors. It also sells an extensive range of tiles for all rooms of the home, with options including interior design-led ranges such as large-format, wood-effect and marble-effect.

It will be open seven days a week, from 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm on Saturdays and 10am-4pm on Sundays.

Will Prince, manager at the Harlow store, said: “I am delighted to be joining Easy Bathrooms at a time when the company is going through sustained growth. The brand is becoming increasingly well-known nationally and I’m so excited to help spread the word throughout the Harlow area.

“Our products are beautiful, but affordable – especially because we offer finance – and I think it’s brilliant that we can offer this to homeowners locally. I’m looking forward to the store opening in the next few days – we’re ready and raring to go!”

Easy Bathrooms plans to open eight more showrooms in 2020. 2019 was its best financial year since it was founded in 2012, launching 16 stores throughout the UK, with turnover topping more than £20million at the end of 2018. 2019 saw this turnover grow by 60%.
