Contractor accountancy and payroll specialist Danbro has appointed a strategic senior team to develop new business across the UK.
Blackpool-based Danbro delivers umbrella, limited company and CIS services to more than 6,500 contract workers throughout the UK. It has already extended its in-house business development team in response to the surge in self employment.
Now a brand new team of senior business development managers in situ in key “super” regions across the UK is out to drive up business, galvanise growth, and extend Danbro’s expert service to new, as well as existing, customers.
The move follows former recruitment industry heavyweight Chester Boothe’s appointment as head of new business development.
Danbro managing director Damian Broughton says the appointment of the new business team underlines the firm’s efforts to delivery exemplary service alongside sustainable growth – from the very first point of contact for every prospective contractor.
“Danbro is about integrity, compliance and giving the best possible service for contractors’ individual needs. It is also dynamic. In order to grow Danbro and seize opportunities provided by unparalleled growth in the UK’s freelance workforce, Danbro needs to be out there telling people why we do it so much better.” said Damian.
Chester says the appointment of four senior business development strategists – with at least one more to come - is a change of pace and face for Danbro.
“We’ve hand picked these people because they are the best. They will be out there directly engaging with prospective and existing clients right across Britain. It’s a game changer for Danbro. It’s about getting boots on the ground out there and telling recruiters and contractors just how good Danbro is.” said Chester.
Chester’s team includes Alex Moore, Chris Jones, Nathaniel Alexander and Amanda Price.
Former professional rugby player Nathaniel explains: “I’m delighted to have joined Danbro. I first came across the name in 2008 after moving into umbrella from recruitment and no-one had a bad word to say for them. Retention was down to great customer service, features, benefits, a trusted product and staff – rather than a great presence on the ground. I did a lot of my own sign-ups when we were stretched and knew if an individual was already with Danbro it was hard to move them.”
Danbro currently employs more than 140 staff and works with more than 450 partner recruitment branches across the UK.
Managing director Damian concludes: “Danbro is growing all the time strategically and sustainably. We are keen to speak to recruitment agency branches and contractors seeking an expert accountancy and payroll partner about our quality, personal and fully compliant service which is designed to save clients time and money.”
Danbro is one of the sponsors of the prestigious Recruiter Awards for Excellence at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Wednesday (May 7) and will also be at the London Business Show at the ExCel Arena May 15-16 – with a very special attraction at the stand.
