Bolton based Four Recruitment has announced an expansion to its current recruitment specialisms with the creation of a new division.

Recruitment firm creates specialist Supply Chain division

"As an entrepreneurial business we are always on the looking out for individuals who share our passion of doing recruitment the right way!"
Claire Sofield

Founded in 2008 by brother and sister team Phil and Claire Sofield.  Four Recruitment has developed a strong reputation over the past 13 years with clients and candidates alike, overcoming the stereotype of recruitment, setting an example of excellence and leading-edge recruitment.

The new Supply Chain division has been established following the senior appointment of Katy Stephens who joins the firm with a long and experienced background in supply chain and logistics management.

Katy has enjoyed a great career in the sector working for global brands such as Coca Cola and more recently Vimto, where she worked as part of the management team across the demand and logistics functions.

Managing director Claire Sofield commented: “Katy had the appetite for a career change but the desire to still be able to apply the knowledge and expertise she has gained over the last 13 years.

“We met over a coffee and I was instantly impressed with her sector knowledge, customer focussed approach and her instant engagement and ability to build a rapport – which is key in what we do.

“Her knowledge will really benefit her in role, as she will be able to understand with complete clarity the clients and candidates she is working with.”

The Supply Chain division will recruit a variety of roles within the sector from supply chain and logistics directors to supply chain managers and team leaders. The division is already working with a number of leading names.

Commenting on her appointment Katy said: “Having spent my entire career since graduating from University in numerous roles across supply chain, I see this as a fantastic opportunity for a career transformation and to really bring my knowledge and skillset to launch this new division for Four.”

“Following my initial meeting with Claire I was instantly attracted to Four.  Claire showcased the passion and enthusiasm for what Four is all about and the purpose for matching great people with great businesses was so vibrant.

“I absolutely love the fact that Four is extremely customer centric, creating that bespoke journey for both candidates and clients. This completely aligns with my own focus and desire to deliver customer service excellence which has been paramount throughout my career.”

“I have faced the many challenges that the sector encounters and understand how, as a result of Covid-19, supply chains have come under more strain than ever and have had to be extremely reactive due to the huge volatility in the market.

“This volatility has put people, systems and processes under massive amounts of strain which means, as we move forward supply chains will be building back with more agility and resilience to future challenges.

“I believe with my industry background I can really assist those who are looking for their next career move and with hiring managers in developing their talent management strategies.”

Continued Claire: “As an entrepreneurial business we are always on the looking out for individuals who share our passion of doing recruitment the right way!

“We believe that we have a very special team here at Four, that care about matching great people to great businesses, and Katy certainly fits that criteria.

“We have always been interested in developing a supply chain offering and Katy’s appointment is a huge opportunity for our business.”
