New general manager and Motability expert get into gear at Bristol Street Motors

"My aim is to ensure that the dealership delivers the highest possible standard of service to customers in Birmingham and the surrounding areas, and to demonstrate our company values on a daily basis."
Darren Cook

Bristol Street Motors is welcoming two new recruits to its SEAT dealership in Birmingham, including the site’s first Motability sales executive.

Darren Cook, 38, recently joined the Watson Road site as general manager and has been with Vertu Motors, the Group which operates Bristol Street Motors, since February last year. Darren has almost two decades of experience in the motor industry.

Darren Davis, 42, is the site’s first Motability sales executive. Darren has worked as a Motability specialist in the service departments of a number of motor retailers and has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry. Darren was inspired to work for the Motability Scheme as his mum has a disability, so has first-hand experience of the needs of his customers. He has two sales executives, Mohammad Gahda And Kevin Bromley, assisting him with the dealership’s Motability customers.

In their spare time, Darren Cook and Darren Davis swap four wheels for two, as both are keen cyclists. Darren Cook has mountain biked all over the world with a group of 22 friends, in locations such as Switzerland and the French Alps. Darren Davis loves spending his time outdoors and often cycles in his spare time.

Darren Cook, general manager of Bristol Street Motors Birmingham Seat, said: “My aim is to ensure that the dealership delivers the highest possible standard of service to customers in Birmingham and the surrounding areas, and to demonstrate our company values on a daily basis. I think that a happy team makes a brilliant team and I am fortunate to work with so many enthusiastic, hard-working individuals.”

Darren Davis added: “I think that working on the service side of the Motability Scheme has provided me with lots of transferable skills that I have been able to adopt into my role as a Motability sales executive. I love working in my new position, I have been fortunate to meet some fantastic people and have been able to find the best vehicle to fit a person’s individual needs, which is very rewarding.”
