Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire has begun ground works on the site off Great North Road, with 187 homes scheduled to be built.

The Manor Grange development, as it will become known, will offer a mix two, three and four-bedroom homes.

“The location is key,” said Simon Whalley, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire.

“The development is not only in walking distance to Micklefield village centre and train station but is ideally located for the A1(M) and M1 offering good links to Selby, York and Leeds.

“Local amenities and school are also in abundance coupled with its rural surrounding; this all adds to the development’s appeal.

“We have already received a number of enquiries about Manor Grange and are encouraging customers to register their interest so we can keep them up-to-date with the site’s developments.”

Buyers looking to move into their dream home will be able to access the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, or Persimmon’s Part Exchange and Home Change packages.

“We are working to getting our sales team on site from February 2020 and are hoping to hand over the keys to our first customers in the late summer,” added Simon.
