Abergele homes fast-tracked for second time to keep up with demand

"We brought forward Phase Two by six months and this proved to be the right strategy to adopt, so weve decided to do the same with the third phase of this significant development."
Caryl Russell, Sales Manager, Macbryde Homes

Macbryde Homes has confirmed that work on Phase Three at Bron Y Castell, its 156-homes development in Abergele, has been brought forward to keep up with phenomenal levels of demand.

The homes, which are being built on land previously ear-marked for an extension of the North Wales Business Park, have proved popular ever since the development received planning approval in July 2017.  Work commenced on-site in March 2018 and almost a third of the units had been sold before the first show home even launched.  When the show homes subsequently launched, they welcomed over 100 interested purchasers in just two days.  Caryl Russell, Sales Manager at Macbryde Homes, comments:

“The homes we’re developing in Abergele have received huge levels of interest from day one – in fact, even before then!  We had every confidence that this would be the case, but the fact that levels of interest have gained momentum, rather than level off, is something that continues to amaze us.

“Of course, we felt confident in choosing to develop in Abergele.  Intense levels of demand for quality homes in the town and wider region, coupled with the area’s well-established employment opportunities and strong transport connectivity were, on paper, a recipe for success but it’s only when interest converts to sales that you can be entirely sure of this.

“We brought forward Phase Two by six months and this proved to be the right strategy to adopt, so we’ve decided to do the same with the third phase of this significant development.  Infrastructure work is already well underway.”

Homes at Bron Y Castell include two-bedroom mews style homes, through to three-bedroom and four-bedroom detached family homes all of which will appeal to both young professionals and growing families alike.

All the properties at Bron Y Castell, up to the value of £300,000 are available for purchase through Help to Buy Wales.

It is anticipated that Macbryde Homes will complete construction on site by Summer 2021, two years ahead of schedule.
