A Reading-based oven valeting company is celebrating after being recognised for its long service.
Ovenu Reading is entering its 16th year in business and has become extremely popular throughout the town and surrounding areas.
Gareth Turner has been an Ovenu franchisee since 2004 and was one of 51 other business owners presented with a commemorative pin to mark their 10-year service, as part of Ovenu’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
He was just 23-years-old when he established Ovenu Reading and has grown the business to where it is today, celebrating recognition as one of the Ovenu network’s longest standing franchisees.
Ovenu is a franchise network made up of more than 100 businesses throughout the UK.
The Ovenu valeting process involves dismantling key components of an oven and placing them into design-registered tank equipment, which uses safe, non-caustic products to clean the oven parts.
The range of environmentally friendly products used in the process are guaranteed to be bio-degradable, non-toxic and therefore completely safe for the appliance and its users.

“Over the last 15 years I have cleaned 10,000 ovens in homes across the area with some being more memorable than others! The one that sticks out in the memory was an oven in a home on an island at Henley-on-Thames. I had to get a ferry to reach it!
