Miller Homes have today announced that they'll be extending the Chancellor's stamp duty holiday on their properties, until the end of June 2021.

Miller Homes Announces Stamp Duty Holiday Extension

"We hope this will give encouragement to those wanting to purchase their dream home next year, to finally take the steps to do it."

Earlier this year, Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced a 6-month holiday on Stamp Duty Land Tax to support those looking to buy a house this year. This was applicable on all houses up to the value of £500,000 saving homebuyers thousands of pounds. Now, with the scheme having just 5 more months left to run its course, local housebuilder Miller Homes has announced that it is extending the saving for all buyers up to the end of June 2021.

Up to the value of £6000, Miller Homes will cover stamp duty costs on the houses it is building. This means that prospective home buyers can purchase a house up to the value of £320,000 without having to pay any stamp duty at all.

This move comes as part of an ongoing Miller Homes pledge to offer a quality service to all those who buy a Miller home. The housebuilder strives to give back to any community that it builds in.

For more information on the Miller Homes SDLT holiday, buyers are encouraged to call their local sales centre or book an appointment.
