The north west based property relocation company, Move Angels, is spreading its corporate wings this month with the launch of a new service to find long term property buys and rental homes in the USA, for people and businesses based in the UK.
Headed up by businesswomen and Cheshire based property experts, Stephanie Goldstone and Jenny Forshaw, the service will be offered in partnership with USA realtor Elissa Lithman of SoBe British Realty based in Miami, Florida. It will include finding new homes for people relocating to the US for work purposes, as well as short-term rental options and holiday homes.
With its American counterpart, Move Angels will provide an extended international ‘concierge’ service for people relocating long-term to the USA that goes beyond just finding them a house. It will include helping clients to save time in finding the right property by shortlisting possible homes, organising home inspections via the internet and/or arranging travel to inspection visits for final selection, moving families and even pets to the new location, helping the family to meet local people and other ex-Pats, organising registration at schools, medical practices and with utilities, and providing families with a comprehensive familiarisation of their new home town community, amenities and social scene.
In addition the company is offering a service to find and inspect potential holiday homes or holiday rentals, shortlisting the possible options and arranging personal or internet based tours of the homes and its local area, to help clients make their final property choice.
‘It is a very natural progression for us’ said Move Angels director Jenny Forshaw
‘Our clients in the UK are often looking for a holiday rental in the USA over the summer months, and we were asked many, many times this year for recommendations. We saw the potential to develop this part of the business and I took a trip to Miami house hunting in August. Working closely with an experienced US based realtor such as Elissa Lithman, we were able to secure a number of exclusive house viewings for our clients. The success this year has given us the foundations upon which to make this a more formal and permanent part of our services.’
‘It’s not just with holiday rentals though where we see opportunities emerging’ adds co-director Stephanie Goldstone
‘We have been house hunting in the USA and Europe for clients looking to buy second homes too. The growing optimism in the economy seems to have inspired a resurgence in the popularity of a having ‘place in the sun’. In addition, we work closely with a number of corporate businesses that have operations in the US as well as UK, so the partnership with Elissa allows us to offer a more comprehensive service to employees relocating Stateside. It’s a very exciting progression for us.’
