"Were expecting interest to be high ... one of the major attractions for homeowners is the developments prime location "
Janet Hopkinson, Sanderson Young
A North East estate agent has announced public open days for new home developments within two idyllic locations across Northumberland.
Sanderson Young has arranged two open days that will take place on Saturday April 13. One at Foxton Glade which is a high-end development of 10 four and five-bedroom detached family homes in the village of Lesbury, and one at Hemingway Court, a development in Ponteland that boosts a modern collection of 25 one and two-bedroom apartments.
Janet Hopkinson, operations director at Sanderson Young, said: “The stone-built country homes at Foxton Glade are superb and finished to a high bespoke specification that’s in keeping with the picturesque village of Lesbury and the style of its buildings and other homes.
“We’re expecting interest to be high because there are only a few homes left that are available to buy. One of the major attractions for homeowners is the development’s prime location - it’s in a quiet cul de sac towards the end of Lesbury village - yet very close to the Main East Coast railway line at Alnmouth station, which provides a direct link to London King’s Cross. Local amenities are also nearby including shops, a church, the local first school and sports clubs too.”
The Hemingway Court development of 25 apartments with the added benefit of an elevator service, is at the heart of Ponteland. It is ideal for those looking to get onto the property ladder or looking for a smaller, more manageable home.
Janet continued: “Hemingway Court apartments have something for everyone. Designed and constructed to fit into its beautiful surroundings, the development is located on the site of the village’s former library which has moved to a new home in the town. There’s a wide variety of apartments available including The Shakespeare, which is a stunning Penthouse apartment with fantastic outdoor space. We also have The Twain, a two-bedroom ground floor home, and The Fitzgerald which is a second-floor apartment with two bedrooms, one en - suite and one bathroom. Everything you need - shops, doctors, dentist, school and the local Metro line - is on your doorstep. These are definitely a must view.”
The remaining homes at the Foxton Glade development, by Lindisfarne Homes, start at £535,000 and two styles are left - the Aln and Foxton. At Hemingway Court, the apartments are priced between £113,950 and £399,950.
