Shortland Horne scoops prestigious industry award

"This award is testament to the hard work and dedication shown by all of our team over the last 12 months"
Will Green, Shortland Horne

A Coventry estate agent has landed a prestigious industry prize.

Shortland Horne has been recognised as the most trustworthy estate agents in the region by industry title BUILD magazine.

The firm scooped the “Most Trusted Residential Estate Agency 2019 - West Midlands” prize, fending off competition from some of the most respected sales and lettings agencies in the area.

Shortland Horne, which has three offices across Coventry, was singled out for its “hard work and stellar efforts” in the industry following a comprehensive judging process.

Will Green, Sales and Letting Director, Shortland Horne, said: “We are extremely proud to be named the most trusted residential estate agency in the West Midlands by such a well-respected title as BUILD.

“This award is testament to the hard work and dedication shown by all of our team over the last 12 months.”

Laura Shortland, Sales and Letting Director, Shortland Horne, added: “The West Midlands is home to a number of exemplary estate agents so to be recognised as the most trustworthy in the region is a tremendous honour.

“All of us at Shortland Horne are passionate about what we do and we look forward to strengthening existing ties and making new ones in what is an exciting time for the industry.”

With over 150 years combined local experience, Shortland Horne has established itself as Coventry and Warwickshire’s most knowledgeable estate agent.

And according to Green, it is this expertise which has seen regional clients return to the company despite the arrival of new competitors to the sales and lettings market.

Green said: “We pride ourselves on the relationships we develop with our customers.

“Despite the emergence of new competitors to the market, we have secured a great deal of repeat business which I think is indicative of the level of trust our clients place in us.”

Going forward, Green and the team at Shortland Horne are keen to build on what has been a sustained period of growth for the company.

Green said: “We have exceeded our sales targets for the past year and we’ve really worked hard to make ourselves relevant in this ever-changing market – and trust is a major part of that.

“I’m convinced that the key driver for growth has been our commitment to transparency which has now been recognised by this prestigious award from BUIILD.”
