"The bank spoke so highly of the team at FBC Manby Bowdler. Everyone I dealt with was quick to answer any queries. They provided me with the support and reassurance that I needed."
Sasha White
An enterprising businesswoman is looking forward to restrictions being lifted so that she can re-open her luxurious beauty salon in Swindon, Dudley, having purchased the building it is located in with an ambitious vision for future growth. Negotiations to complete the purchase were handled by FBC Manby Bowdler’s commercial property team, led by David Grove.
No White Bits Boutique was launched by Sasha White in 2017 and the landlord of her premises, which are located on the High Street in Swindon, indicated early on that he may decide to sell the shop at some point in the future. This piqued Sasha’s interest and her strong business acumen convinced her to seriously consider this option. She comments:
“I launched my business after deciding that the accountancy course I was doing at College wasn’t for me. I was, however, committed to making my business a success and knew that if I rented premises long-term, then I’d be simply throwing money away.
“When the landlord mooted that he may sell, I made it clear that I’d consider purchasing the shop myself but being so young – I’m just 21 – and having not purchased a property before, I was keen to do my homework and make sure it was the right thing to do.”
Sasha is a firm believer in the power of personal recommendations and when her bank manager referred her to the commercial property team at FBC Manby Bowdler, she was happy to take the lead. She continues:
“Having not needed to engage a solicitor before, I was relieved that my contact at the bank spoke so highly of the team at FBC Manby Bowdler.
“Everyone I dealt with at was quick to answer any queries I had and in spite of the purchase going through during the midst of the Covid pandemic, and being slightly delayed as a consequence, they provided me with the support and reassurance that I needed in what was a significant purchase for me.”
Speaking on behalf of the team at FBC Manby Bowdler, David Grove concludes:
“It was clear to the team from the outset that Sasha is an ambitious young businesswoman.
“Her vision to grow the beauty salon business is coupled with a desire to also invest in further properties over the longer-term. Her decision to establish a distinct company to manage this portfolio as it grows demonstrates her astute and enterprising business mind and the team would be honoured to support her on further purchases in the future.”
No White Bits Boutique offers a range of beauty treatments including nails, tanning and specialist skin treatments. The team’s plans for re-opening post-lockdown will be published via its social media platforms in due course.
