New figures reveal Bromwich Hardy success story

"Our ethos of always working in the best commercial interests of all our clients means that we become a trusted partner and the results speak for themselves"

A thriving independent commercial property specialist is today revealed as one of the most successful in the country in new figures.

Coventry-based Bromwich Hardy outperformed many of its larger rivals in 2020 according to the new figures compiled by industry publication Estates Gazette – and has also made a hugely impressive start to 2021.

The figures – which compare all agents signed up to Radius Data Exchange – show that Bromwich Hardy was the eighth most successful agent nationwide last year for both retail and hotel & leisure sales and lettings.

The firm concluded retail deals covering 83,248 sq ft and hotel & leisure deals running to 20,671 sq ft. It also recorded the 15th best figures in the country for industrial sales and lettings, with 609,270 sq ft of deals concluded.

Regionally, Bromwich Hardy was the second most successful agency in retail, with 83,248 sq ft of deals in the West Midlands, third for industrial deals at 463,448 sq ft and fourth for office deals with 117,735 sq ft.

And figures for January this year show the agency is the top performing firm in the industrial sector in the West Midlands, having already clinched deals for 67,538 sq ft of property and the sixth best across the country.

Founding partners Tom Bromwich and Richard Hardy said the figures underlined the agency’s reputation for punching above its weight – and its growing role on the national stage.

“We have a first-class team with decades of experience behind them and the knowledge and expertise which clients are demanding in these difficult times,” they said.

“Our ethos of always working in the best commercial interests of all our clients means that we become a trusted partner and the results speak for themselves. In many cases we are outperforming much larger competitors and working across all parts of the country as our reputation grows.

“We are particularly pleased to have made such a strong start to the new year in such difficult circumstances. Despite the impact of the pandemic, there is still activity in the market and our team work tirelessly to identify it.”

The agency was named the most active agent in Warwickshire for the seventh year running by Estates Gazette earlier this year and also won a prestigious award last month for its role in securing the deal to bring a new hotel to Coventry city centre.
