Women’s group This Lady Loves - a North West based company - has been chosen to run the Inspire Women’s Conference and Awards during the International Festival of Business in Liverpool on June 19th.

The festival will accelerate UK economic growth with an ambitious programme of global business events running throughout June and July 2014. The result of an exciting convergence between innovative thinking, government policy and will to win, IFB 2014 will connect the smartest entrepreneurial minds and best business opportunities in the world.

Over 250,000 visitors from across the globe are expected to attend the largest UK business festival for decades in an event with aspirations of accelerating and increasing exports and direct investment. The IFB is taking place over 60 days and will act as a truly global platform for businesses to showcase their brand.
The Women’s conference is designed to motivate and inspire delegates. With a range of exhibition stands, and high profile speakers, with a focus on women in business. We will be supporting Girls Out Loud on the day.

Girls Out Loud is a UK based social enterprise set up in 2009 by serial entrepreneur and inspirational speaker/coach Jane Kenyon and business woman, Ambassador for enterprise and media personality Claire Young.  In 2010 they were joined by Rachel Ward Lilley a teenage champion, communications professional and mountaineer.  The team have a mission to raise the aspirations of young girls between the ages of 13-18. The organisation facilitates intervention programmes in schools from one day to 12 months in duration and in 2010 we launched a nationwide mentoring programme for teenage girls called BIG SISTER which involves us recruiting and training role models from a diverse background to mentor teenage girls for a period of 12 months.

The emphasis of all our activity is to embed a more empowering mind set in girls, which in turn, reconnects them to education, helps them achieve exam success and broaden their aspirations, and encourages them to find their individual voice, take risks, make better life decisions, improve their self-image and become role models for future generations. Everyone attending the conference will be asked to bring along a photograph of themselves as a teenager which will be pinned to a wall of fame.

The full day event on June 19th will be held at Liverpool Football club, is geared towards female entrepreneurs and business women from all industries. The event is aimed at ladies but open to anyone who wishes to attend, with a great opportunity to network with companies from outside the North West area.
