MMB Private Lunch Club reveals resilience event for Huddersfield

"Weve given a voice to the people of the town, and these thought-provoking chats, held in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, have allowed like-minded business people to share opinions."
Katie Mallinson

MMB is preparing for its next Private Lunch Club, due to take place in Huddersfield on 4 September.

Following its success in the region – and further to previous events across Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield – MMB magazine has once again joined forces with Lindley-based Scriba PR to invite mid-senior level decision makers to take part in the debate.

After recent themes on topics such as ‘the role of tech in a thriving workplace’ and ‘taking calculated risks – is there a secret formula?’, this time the focus is on ‘resilience’.

Set to take place once again at The Manor House, Lindley, attendees will be encouraged to discuss and debate questions surrounding the pace of the current business climate, whether unpredictability is viewed as a worry or a motivator, and what resilience really means in the workplace today.

In addition to group discussions over a two-course lunch, Natasha McCreesh – founder of PiP To Grow Strong – will join the event as guest speaker. She will encourage attendees to explore the role of personal resilience in the ‘health’ of a company, how employers can better safeguard wellness levels among staff, and the biggest threats – and fixes – to consider to build business resilience.

Katie Mallinson, MD of Scriba PR, commented: “The last two events held in Huddersfield have led to some truly great debates on important matters in the world of work. The guests have all contributed incredibly and we’ve been able to produce some really compelling reports on the themes discussed.

“We’ve given a voice to the people of the town, and these thought-provoking chats, held in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, have allowed like-minded business people to share opinions on some highly relevant topics. I’m confident that this next event will be no different!”

Attendance costs £50 and includes a two-course a-la-carte lunch. Pre-registration is essential – to enquire about a place at the roundtable, please contact abbie@mmbmagazine.co.uk.
