Digital agency Bespoke has been awarded the We invest in people accreditation by Investors in People.

Founded in 1991 by the UK Government and now recognised in 66 countries, Investors in People is an established standard for people management, offering accreditation to organisations that adhere to the Investors in People Standard. The We invest in people standard is a four-stage process that assesses how well an organisation is supporting its people at work, including leading, supporting and improving.

Employing 12 staff in both Lancashire and London, Bespoke is a lead generation specialist agency. As well as designing and building websites, the agency also delivers online campaigns through retainers to help in-house marketing teams maximise their returns from their online spend.

In April 2021, the agency announced a record first quarter in its 20-year history after successfully pivoting the delivery of services in 2020 and is currently waiting to move into its newly-fitted offices at Strawberry Fields once restrictions are further eased.

Bespoke Co-founder & CEO Steve Brennan said: “There’s no doubt that digital marketing is a people-based business, so looking after talented and valuable staff is extremely important. Having our people policies officially scrutinised and validated by Investors in People is therefore something we take great pride in.

“It’s significant that the accreditation was achieved at the first time of asking, with no requirement for adjustments to be made - our whole team should take great credit for that.

“While the business has performed well whilst working from home, I still believe nothing can replace the dynamics of the office environment – especially when it comes to working as a team to develop ideas. We’re committed to a flexible hybrid-model going forward where staff have the option of coming in to use the great new facilities we have or stay home. We believe one effect of the pandemic will be a better work-life balance for everyone.”

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Bespoke. Being accredited with We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Bespoke in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
