Wigan networking group moving venue to give local businesses The Edge over their competition throughout 2020

"Our networking meetings are designed to concentrate on just that, networking, and so we wont take up the whole meeting with our own agenda."
Jo Leigh - Creative Marketing Director

Launch Events Business Networking Wigan, run by local family business Launch Events NW, is moving location for 2020 to The Edge Arena, Wigan, with its first meeting to be held on Thursday, February 6, between 10am and 12pm.

Networking is a vital tool for businesses who want to grow and raise their brand awareness with this type of business event providing the perfect opportunity to market products and services face to face with other local businessmen and women.

Launch Events Managing Director Nichola Howard, who is also the Wigan Area Vice President of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, said: “Having organised business events for the last 7 years I see first-hand how the building and nurturing of local relationships benefit businesses, and that’s what our networking meeting provides for our attendees.”

“Your network is your net worth and without a strong business community around you, running a business can be a very lonely place. So, whether you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, sales or marketing manager and are looking to make new connections, join us on Thursday the 6th February and give your business the edge over your competition.”

Included in each meeting is a ‘60 Second Introduction’ slot followed by ‘Targeted Networking’ sessions and a 10-minute guest presentation.

Having The Edge over your competition can be the difference between simply surviving or thriving and with expert speaker Neil Simpson taking the spotlight for the launch meeting you will go away knowing what it takes to thrive in 2020.

Jo Leigh, Creative and Marketing Director, said: “Our networking meetings are designed to concentrate on just that, networking, and so we won’t take up the whole meeting with our own agenda. Furthermore, with no annual membership subscription you’re free to attend any of our monthly meetings on a PAYG basis.”

“Meet new connections and nurture existing ones whilst using the 60 second introduction slot to perfect your sales message and hone those interpersonal skills. The benefits of networking are endless, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming some new and not so new faces to our new Wigan networking home.”
