Perfume Direct Makes Christmas Scent-sational

"Our choice of fragrances were the result of a survey into which smells remind people most of Christmas with stilton, Christmas pud and pigs in blankets coming out top. "

Gaining widespread media coverage in the run up to Christmas, Manchester-based PerfumeDirect.com launched a set of three limited edition seasonal scents, paying homage to the nation’s favourite festive foods, Scent of Stilton, Eau de Christmas Pudding and Pigs in Blanket Parfum

The unique scents, priced £59 for the three-piece set, were developed exclusively for the online retailer by a bespoke fragrance specialist to create the ideal quirky gift for someone who seriously loves Christmas!

With notes of buttermilk, cheese and phenols, Scent of Stilton is an ode to the iconic British stinky cheese, which is set to grace thousands of dinner tables up and down the country this Christmas.

Eau de Christmas Pudding is predicted to be the most popular of the three fragrances with top notes of berries, citrus, almond and apple, complimented by vanilla, clove and cognac, resulting in a warm, comforting scent that is slightly fruity.

With pigs in blankets recently crowned as the top trimming by 59% of the nation, Pigs in Blanket Parfum will make a lasting impression with foodie fans for whom no Christmas dinner is complete without the infamous side dish. The pork-perfumed scent will leave notes of bacon, sausage, smoked spice and clove on its wearer, being sure to make Christmas 2019 one to remember.

Jonny Webber from www.perfumedirect.com said: “This set would make the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for friend or relative who loves Christmas. It could even make a fun Secret Santa present.

“Our choice of fragrances were the result of a survey into which smells remind people most of Christmas – with stilton, Christmas pud and pigs in blankets coming out top. And by creating a perfume capturing these notes, the magic of Christmas can last and last way beyond Boxing Day.

“A pigs in blanket perfume may seem a crazy idea, but it is actually quite nice. My favourite is most definitely the Christmas pudding one, but that’s my favourite part of Christmas dinner overall. The Stilton perfume is certainly different and will probably turn a few heads when the wearer walks past.”
