"MediaCityExpo was a great success for exhibitors and visitors alike with amazing workshops and debates from experts across the North West."
The first MediaCityExpo saw more than 350 visitors tap into the wealth of talent in the creative, digital and media industries across the region.
From drones and daleks to networking and debates the event was a huge success – reaching more than one million people on social media in just one day.
Along with the exhibitors; from social media experts to marketing, branding and PR specialists; the event saw debates and workshops oversubscribed – including the ‘Women in Tech’ and ‘Digital Debate’.
Event organiser, Nichola Howard, from Launch Events North West, now wants to make sure that exhibitors and visitors continue to make the most of the event with a ‘Deal Makers Breakfast’ on Thursday, June 14, to follow up on connections made on the day and turn leads into sales.
She said: “The event was a great success for exhibitors and visitors alike – with amazing workshops and debates from experts across the North West, and I would like to thank everyone that was involved.
“But I don’t want it to end there. I read recently that 80 percent of businesses don’t follow up on leads that they get from trade shows, and I don’t want this to happen from MediaCityExpo, so have set up a follow up breakfast meeting, which will be a more relaxed setting to chat to key speakers from the MediaCityExpo and see how connections can best benefit your business and theirs.”

Nichola will also be holding her next event – Leigh Business Expo – on Friday, June 24, from 9am until 3pm. The free expo will have more than 80 stalls and aims to bring local businesses together to create new opportunities and a business community to be proud of. For tickets click here: Eventbrite
