PR Agency is hopping proud of three client wins

Cheshire-based PR, social and content agency Hop PR, is celebrating a strong start to the year with securing three new accounts.

Weight loss and wellness specialists, Bodyline Clinic, HR and Employment Law firm, By Design Group and the UK’s largest LGBT+ youth charity, The Proud Trust, are the latest account wins for the Poynton-based agency, which focuses on both consumer and business to business communications.

Hop, who won all three in competitive pitches, will support Bodyline with its UK PR profile. This will involve building its presence and driving leads and sales on its active social channels as well as supporting its ambitious clinic opening plans and new product launches.

For The Proud Trust, the team’s remit will involve building awareness of the charity’s tireless work regionally and nationally, as well as supporting the re-build of its iconic centre on Sidney Street. Finally, for By Design Group, Hop will begin a multi-channel communications programme to raise the company’s presence as the one-stop-shop for HR, employment law and investigations.

Becki Rogerson, owner and founder at Hop PR said: “I’m extremely proud to have grown the business organically, largely through recommendations and referrals, over the last three years.

“It was my ambition this year to grow Hop’s remit and I am utterly delighted to have won these three national businesses, who equally have impressive plans for the year ahead.

“Our aim as an agency and trusted partner is always to add value and creativity for our clients, with deep-rooted experience in the third sector, we’re excited to help the Proud Trust in their selfless work, which helps thousands of LGBT+ people who need safety, friendship and support. We’re also very much looking forward to building both Bodyline and By Design Group brands’ profiles across press and social media.”

Lucy Harding, design and marketing manager at the Proud Trust, who has recently received planning permission to rebuild a three-storey centre on the site of the existing facility, which will increase the number of people the centre helps from 12,000 a year currently, to around 50,000 said: “As a charity, with a small team and most staff on part-time hours, we have little time, or skills, to do PR ourselves. We needed someone who could meet us, quickly understand us, and then independently acts in our best interests with minimal need for continuous interaction.

“After just one meeting, Becki and her team understood exactly what our vision is as a charity, which meant we could put our full faith in their hands and have utter confidence Hop would act as if part of our team. We all already wish we could have Becki on our team full time!”

Hop PR was set up by Rogerson back in 2016 after an award-winning career in both agency and in-house roles. Clients include MIS Active Management Systems and children’s magazine Scoop, among a roster of others, as well as head ‘hopper’ Becki freelancing for agencies in both the south and north.
