Host of new partnerships for the Entrepreneurs Forum

Host of new partnerships for the Entrepreneurs Forum

"Im looking forward to establishing lasting relationships with our latest partners and existing members."
James Robson MBE

Entrepreneurial membership organisation, the Entrepreneurs’ Forum, has continued to strengthen its ties to the North East business community with a raft of new partnerships.

The Entrepreneurs’ Forum has welcomed three new corporate partners – The Encore Group, Narrative Integrated Communications and Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Hotel – as well as London North Eastern Railways (LNER) as a business support partner.

The Encore Group is a leading provider of print and packaging solutions, while Narrative is a true full-service marketing agency. The Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Hotel is one of the region’s leading hotels for business events, hosting up to 500 people at corporate events, meetings and conferences.

LNER took the reins of the iconic east coast mainline last summer and plays a pivotal role in the upkeep and management of the North East’s rail links to London, South East England, East Anglia, Yorkshire and Scotland.

Corporate Partners of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum work closely with the organisation’s team to share their expertise and raise awareness of the help they can offer North East entrepreneurs. Business Support Partners offer advice and connect Entrepreneurs’ Forum members with services that can support entrepreneurialism and businesses in the region.

The Entrepreneurs’ Forum represents more than 300 individual member companies, which have a combined turnover of more than £2.3 billion and in excess of 23,000 employees.

Encore, Narrative, the Hilton and LNER join the Forum’s existing partners, which include Barclays Eagle Labs, Brewin Dolphin, Deloitte, Diamond Group, Gateshead College, Newcastle United, Sage, Tier One Capital and Ward Hadaway, as well as the Department for International Trade, the North East LEP, Tees Valley Combined Authority and Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside universities.

James Robson MBE, chairman of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum, said: “We’re delighted to announce these new partnerships, which will further enhance our relationship with the North East business community, and offer additional support to our members. Help from such a wide range of experienced partners is integral to the success of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum as we seek to build an entrepreneurial eco-system that truly helps business owners to thrive across the entire region. I’m looking forward to establishing lasting relationships with our latest partners and existing members.

Russell Croisdale, managing director of Encore Group said: “Having been a member of the Entrepreneurs Forum for a number of years I am delighted that Encore will now be supporting this inspirational group as a Corporate Partner. The EF is a unique organisation which successfully offers like-minded people and businesses opportunities to develop and share ideas irrespective of their size, which can only be a positive benefit to our region and we hope to help further develop this by working together.

Kieron Goldsborough, managing director at Narrative, said: “Our values are at the core of everything we do - and they include a passion and focus for peer learning as well as collaboration. This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to both demonstrate this to the wider region and to work together with the Forum and their 300+ entrepreneurial members to share networks and expertise.

Lynn Proud, director of sales at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead said: “The support of entrepreneurs is vital for the growth of our region and important for our economy, which reflects upon all our businesses. The Entrepreneurs’ Forum is a great place to converse and collaborate and we are delighted to be able to be involved and have the opportunity to support this inspirational group of business leaders. As Hilton heads toward a milestone 100th anniversary in 2019, we remember the words of our founder Conrad Hilton: ‘It all starts with a cup of coffee.’.
