BusinessLodge Stoke celebrates first birthday

Staffordshire's newest flexible office space hails first year a huge success

BusinessLodge Stoke celebrates first birthday

"The support weve had from our clients and the wider Stoke business community has been incredible."
Paula Nadin, Business Centre Manager

Stoke’s leading office space is celebrating its first birthday and hailing its first year in business a fantastic success – despite the many challenges that the past 12 months have presented.

The leading flexible - space provider, which offers innovative office solutions to Stoke’s growing business community, opened last July at a prestigious open day and business fair. The business centre is housed in the old Npower building, which had stood empty for five years and has been finished to an extremely high spec, offering contemporary serviced offices, virtual offices, meeting rooms and conference facilities, along with catering and relaxation facilities.

In just a year, BusinessLodge Stoke has won an excellent reputation for providing top-end office facilities combined with exceptional customer service and a true community feel. The building also features a free gym, catering facilities and free on-site car parking, and offers a totally unique space that isn’t available anywhere else in Stoke.

In January, BusinessLodge announced that due to customer demand  for additional workspace, development was to commence on the first floor. The refurbishment will bring an additional 175 work stations, taking the total capacity to 325. The work will be completed late July.

During lockdown, BusinessLodge has seen an increase in enquiries from budding entrepreneurs who have used the time to focus on a new business venture which has lead an increase in demand for virtual office and (socially distanced) co-working space. In addition, the centre has also conducted tours for several larger businesses who are looking to relocate their premises in order to reduce travel time and promote a better work life balance for staff.

Paula Nadin, Centre Manager said:

“It’s been an absolute rollercoaster of a year, from our amazing opening event and welcoming our first clients, then starting work on our first floor and more recently, the huge impact of COVID 19 on all businesses”.

“Despite this, the support we’ve had from our clients and the wider Stoke business community has been incredible. We’ve had regular enquiries and during these testing times, it’s been more apparent than ever what we’re providing here is more than office space – it’s a workplace family”.

Trent House is well known in the area and is perfectly located for commuters, with close proximity to the train station and Hanley centre and links to motorways. BusinessLodge is located on one of the main arterial routes into the City.

With a focus on flexibility, the premises offers a range of flex space solutions, from co-working spaces and one man units to space for 100 people from just £150+VAT PCM. Offices can be tailored to client’s requirements, from furniture to graphics and décor, to reconfiguration if required.
