New Alchemy Virtual Assistant commits to supporting clients through coronavirus

"I want to help businesses survive during the outbreak and thrive beyond."
Annette Harris

Annette Harris is Alchemy Virtual Assistance’s (VA) second franchisee, and is committed to provide remote PA and admin services to small businesses from her West Northamptonshire base under the trusted Alchemy brand.

With over 30 years’ experience as a personal assistant, and as businesses are being forced to suddenly adopt a remote and virtual approach to their operations – Annette says she is not scared to be launching her Virtual Assistant business during the COVID19 pandemic.

“Becoming an Alchemy Virtual Assistant during this challenging time, when lots of organisations are having to change the way they provide their products and run their services remotely has given me even more focus than ever,” said Annette, who is very used to high pressured roles, having worked for chief executive officers, financial directors and commercial directors at various UK-wide retail companies.

“Most recently I was PA to a board-level director for a very well-known UK supermarket chain, managing his day-to-day work tasks and ensuring maximum productivity during an increasingly challenging environment so that he can focus on the strategic, pressing and essential elements of the business. I’ve also navigated and supported through lots of sizable restructures, expansions and company takeovers during my working career too. Now is the time for me to use all those skills to help other businesses and entrepreneurs.

“Organisation is my key strength, and businesses need that more than ever at this time. I can take away the pressure of routine tasks so that they can focus more on the income-generating activities and gain a better work-life balance. I want to help my clients to not only survive, during the outbreak but to prepare and plan to thrive once normality returns.”

Annette has joined Alchemy VA’s growing professional, home-based virtual assistant team to offer the award-winning service that company founder, Suzy Sanders, has worked so hard to shape and provide.

“Virtual assistants have a wealth of experience, skills and connections. They can be powerful strategic partners to business owners, bringing calm to the chaos during this extraordinary period. Bringing Annette on board now will only strengthen and broaden our ability to help even more people,” said Suzy, who has been very busy – along with her business partner, Paul and VA Hub Manager, Sarah Damani – supporting their diverse national client base as well as giving free advice to companies about how to migrate their businesses online and take the opportunity now to clear paperwork and improve processes.

“We have been providing remote support services at Alchemy VA for many years before we launched as a franchise with Sarah in January 2020 and we’ve had quite humbling feedback from our wonderful clients about how our committed team are continuing to provide a high-quality, valuable service and level-headed advice during this challenging time.

“With lots of uncertainty, our Alchemy VA team remain confident in our ability to help others. We have been working hard behind the scenes for many weeks to bring Annette up to speed with the Alchemy VA way and we are absolutely thrilled that she has chosen to join us.”
