"The event will explore how to make brands and culture more human. Many businesses still tend to work on assumptions, which means are only looking at certain parts of human nature."
Corporate Culture is inviting business leaders across the UK to attend two free events in central London looking at ‘The Emotive Brand: new thinking on brand and culture’ and ‘The Science of Behaviour Change’. The strategic communications consultancy specialises in developing transformational change and engagement for private, public sector and not-for-profit organisations.
The first Insight for Leaders session will take place on Thursday 6th February in Westminster and will explore ‘The Emotive Brand: new thinking on brand and culture’. Host, Corporate Culture chairman John Drummond, will explore the three major accelerators for purpose-led change: diversity of thought, senses, and social nature. The session will reveal how organisations can harness these human drivers to deliver real change.
Drummond will demonstrate how to break out of traditional models and engage employees and customers to bring purpose to life and investigate ways to motivate colleagues while earning trust to increase the chance of successful transformational change. With two decades at the helm of Corporate Culture, he has played a big part in helping organisations shape creative and strategic solutions for complex issues around customer and stakeholder engagement and sustainable business.
Aimed at directors and executives, this new style of session is designed to be insight-driven and will encourage debate and discussion. Drummond said: “The event will explore how to make brands and culture more human. Many businesses still tend to work on assumptions, which means are only looking at certain parts of human nature. Changes in thinking about the purpose of organisations is shifting from the focus of shareholder values to focus on the role for businesses to create products and services that improve lives.”
The second event, a Discovery Session, will take place in Covent Garden on 27th February. It will explore ‘The Science of Behaviour Change’ and the practical application of behavioural science to effectively understand and influence customer and employee behaviour. Speakers Benjamin Buckby, head of behavourial sciences and Nakita Haland, senior behavioural designer at Corporate Culture, will share the latest behavioural thinking, case studies and innovations on how to design research, communications and products and services that make it easier for customers and employees to make better choices. This session is for senior professionals wanting to learn how to understand and influence behaviour more effectively to deliver a competitive edge.
